McVay
I'm a fan of the McVay bender. Very well built - nice spring tension - and is internally routed like the Glaser. Available in any throw length.
And Charlie is one heck of a nice guy. Of course I'm biased - he's done all my benders (G bender) and I'm getting ready to send my 52RI with Steve Wariner's autograph on it to him to get another bender installed. IMHO and YMMV, as always. tomtheguitarguy |

I like both of them......
I have a lefty Parsons White and lefty Glaser b and b/g benders. All of excellent quality. If you're right handed I'd try them all because the touch is different and the position and "hang angle" of the guitar is different. I've never seen a lefty (or righty) McVay bender.

It depends on the gig.........
For me it depends on the gig I have at the moment. My main guitar is a Telecaster with a P/W bender but I actually prefer a Bigsby palm pedal because I like to do a little slide and they're the best for that. I also have a Schecter Strat with a HipShot unit which I like for pedal steel gigs because I can sit behind the steel with the guitar strapped on and push the neck forward instead of down. I'd like to have a Bigsby on my Tele but the levers just stick too far over the bridge so that kills that! They make one with folding levers but I don't like doing that. The Bigsby works the best on 335's, and Les Pauls, or SG's but they just don't sound like a Tele....JH in Va.

Parsons-White or PArsons Greene
I like them both....the extra routing doesn't hurt a thing. If your concerned about permanently modifying a body ...makes no difference if it the mod is a little (Glaser) or more (P/W). A mod is a mod so you might as well go top shelf! IMHO
