Big Bad Bigsby B-Bender Bewilderment.

It may seem like overkill, but out of curiosity, has anyone ever installed a Bigsby on a b-bender? Is it even possible?

Yes.

That is if you're talking about the Bigsby Palm Pedal. Kind of a neat rig. I tried one out many years that was installed on a Gretsch and it worked pretty good. Bigsby quit making em some years ago, but it would appear they're back in that business. The cool thing I remember is there are two levers you can set up on any string you want. I have thought about putting one of these buggers on a guitar, but keep finding myself too occupied with old Parsons/White. Perhaps on an archtop in my future.

Then there is Higgins Peg Bender that should work with Bigsby vibratos. Someone in Gretsch Pages Forum liked it in a 6120.

Been tempted to get one too, but couldn't get reply for my e-mail.

Bender and a tremolo

BTW, the tremolo doesn't affect the B string. You can bend the other 5 strings up or down and hold down a steady note on the B string.

Incoming bender ignorance.

Why is it normally used on the B string? particularly all that effort on on the rusty tele above?

BTW is that Will Ray's guitar?

That's probably based from the original bender of Clarence White. That was originally made to possibly bend each string but he ended up choosing to just bend the B string.
