Assuming that everything is properly set up, is this a problem for anyone? If so, what are solutions?

Try putting a little oil on the Saddle where the string rides over it. If it's breaking on the groove of the bender nut, then it probably needs to be filed down a bit.

I've never had that problem. Make sure everything is smooth, and lube all contact points. Where are they breaking?
