Please Help Me Tune a Parsons White B Bender
Hi Benders!
I have now joined the ranks of bending by acquiring a 52 RI that is fitted with an authorized Parsons/White B bender. However there is no info about tuning. Please help me out with tuning procedures. Many Thanks! alvis |

Hmm - there really aren't any "tuning procedures", per se. There's an adjustment screw that sets the "stop" point - you normally want it to bend up to a C# on the open B string. So tune the guitar normally, then engage the bender and make sure it hits C# - if not, twiddle the screw to sharp or flat the note as needed.
The only other essential thing is to put a drop of lubricant on the saddle. I use a tiny drop of sewing machine oil, and have had the same can for 20 years or so.... Happy bending!
