Just wanted to put in a little plug here for Tim Wallis.

I purchased 6 of his Timara String drops and put them on my guitar and there great. I'm able to do several open tunings for slide (especially if you cover any of the new country there's a lot of drop D tunings). I'm also able to do cool musical effects with the handles like bending notes. I would definitely recommend them and also plan on posting a video using them.
