I once saw a guy on the Grand Ole Opry playing what he called a Peda-bro. It looked like a big wooden steel guitar with a resonator in it, and it had foot pedals (maybe even knee levers???) It was bigger than a steel of course, more boxy. The guy was playing a gospel song with Brad Paisley. This was very early in Brad's career and I don't know the guys name that played the Pedabro and I've never seen another one.

The Pedabro was started by Franklin guitars made by Paul Franklin Sr. Here is a pedabro played by Paul Franklin Jr.
