Anyone Made Their Hipshot a Strap Bend Bender?

So I have 2 Teles with a Parsons/White on them (One Long Stroke the Other Standard -Which I never play and 1 Tele with a McEwen Bender (Long Stroke & Double Bender)
So Now I have another Tele that I will never play if it doesn't have a bender on it and I happen to have a Hipshot. I am very used to playing with a Strap Bender such as the Parsons White but dont want to spend as much on this as my Wife would not be happy! Any Ideas if I can somehow make the Hipshot a Strap Bend??? Any??
Thanks
Dave

Hmm..
..sounds like you're trying to invent what Telesavant already did!

...well, not exactly, but you've gotta admit it's probably the closest anybody has come so far...

Sounds like Dave already has Telesavant's bender (McEwen). I think he's looking for ideas to use the Hipshot he already has. I can't imagine a simple contraption that would make it into a strap bender, though!

Thanks guys! I do want to try and do something with the Hipshot I already have. I got this Tele cheap and I'm not scared to cut into it! ikes..(well maybe a little)
The McEwen Bender works great and my Nashville West is pretty hard to beat.
I am going to find a way...Aircraft Cable? Routed out through the center of my guitar...kind of like a glaser....ooh I am probably going to wreck this body. Too bad too, its kind of a sexy looking thing! lol
I will let you know!
Dave
