Dating a Parsons White Bender

Is there a way to (approx.) date a Parsons White Bender by it's features?

Hello Hans...Yes it's quite possible to get a good date on it. Especially if you have pictures of the bender mechanism. If it's an original Gene Parsons installed unit...Gene could most definitely date it accurately for you. www.stringbender.com

Yes, it is an original Gene Parsons installed unit and I had already mailed him.
Haven't heard back yet, so maybe I should try again.

OK, I heard back from Gene Parsons and his answer fits in with what the owner remembers re. the date that the bender was installed.
