Advice for drilling a hole for the B string in a Glendale bridge

I have an American Standard Parsons/Green bender that I am working on and I picked up a Glendale bridge with the American Standard holes. Do any of you have measurements for where the hole for the B string needs to go?

For the last one I did, I used a 1/8" endmill and just milled a slot from the top of the lip on the bridge down to near the bottom. I used a block of delrin placed on the top side of the bridge so I could hold it in the vise without damaging the side rails of the bridgeplate.

Did you get left with any sharp edges on the top? Can't I drill a hole just to the left of the hole for the B/E saddle? That seems less intrusive to me but I noticed on Glendale's website that he just cuts a slot straight down from the top, which seems similar to what you're talking about.

Either way..drill a hole or cut a slot works just fine. All you want to make sure is that the B string does not contact the bridge metal in any way. There's really not much to it other than that. I routinely just cut a slot with a Dremel tool with grinding wheel disc cutter bit. Make sure you wear eye protection etc.
