Thanks to charlie mcvay
I just recently got my 62 ri back from charlie that had a g bender installed.. All i can say is wow.. Plays smooth as butter.. The craftsmanship is first class all the way.. So precise and strong.. He is also a super nice guy that is always their to answer questions.. Or just let you know how things are going.. I've talked with charlie about doing a bender for me for about three years and finally decided to just do it.. Best move i could have made, i love this bender.. Now i understand why brad swears by em...

I was just wondering, do you also own the P/W style bender, and how would you compare and contrast the two? I'm wanting to have a double-bender installed in my new tele, but I'm wondering whether or not to go with the McVay or the P/W style.
Thanks, Joel aka strat-o-teleman |

Well to be perfectly honest ive never tried one.. I had a glaser b back in the nineties but traded it off.. I've heard good things about the parson style just never had a chance to see for myself.. But i can tell you that mcvay makes a double and you can see pics on his site.. They look rock solid.. Mcvay's benders have minimal invasion so unless you tell someone they probably wont even know you have it on your guitar
