B-Benders and LSR Roller Nuts

Okay, I finally figured it out!

I bought my Nashville B-Bender Tele 2 years ago - loved the idea of the guitar but just hated the way it sounded. The "B" string always sounded crappy - attenuated at an alarming fast rate compared to the other strings. I always figure it was due to the low angle at the bridge; also b/c of the cheap nut.

My MIA Fat-Strat came with a LSR Roller Nut and locking tuners - smoothest setup ever. So I got to thinking that maybe putting an LSR on the Tele might help with tone, etc.

Finally took the plunge today and bought the LSR nut. With a simple flat file, I carved out enough wood for the LSR to fit (it's about twice the width of the stock nut). A little wood putty / sanding and wallah, the LSR Roller Nut was sitting pretty.

The difference in tone is amazing, to say the least!!! This guitar FINALLY sounds like at Tele should sound.

I strongly urge anyone with a B-Bender to install the LSR Roller Nut. Best damn innovation ever (IMHO)!!!

Now, I need to find a compatible/hassle-free locking tuner for this guitar...any ideas?
