I Never Go Around Mirrors intro with a Hipshot

How close to the PSG intro in "I Never Go Around Mirrors" can I get with a B-bender and a volume pedal?

I am considering putting a hipshot on my old tele, I don't want to put anything on my new Nashville Tele at this point.

Thats a fairly typical IV-I-V-I intro...its probabally easier to do without a stringbender...most any lesson on pedal steel bends has it, or some close variation...For instance in C Id play the "Take it Easy" third string bend at 8, resolve to the seventh position G, slide down to 2nd poition D and the the bend again at 3. you can do a similar move with a stringbender.

Having said that, if youre going to get a bender just to cop steel licks you might be disappointed..there are some licks that transfer and with some practice you can get them to sound like a steel, a 6 string one pedal guitar wont compete with a pedal steel for long. Bender style guitar is a different thing and the idea is to develop a fluidity you cant get otherwise
