Sources for replacement parts...Thunderbroom December 2nd, 2003, 12:51 PM Specifically, I am looking for a replacement pickguard, pickup cover and bridge cover for my '74 American Standard P-Bass. The pickguard needs the additional 4 holes to accomodate the thumbrest and pickup cover. Any ideas of good sources for orignal Fender replacement parts on line? Thanks in advance! Thunderbroom December 9th, 2003, 10:10 AM Parts is Parts is a good one, but they didn't have anything I needed for my '74 P-Bass. I found a great resource - www.angela.com. Fantastic listing and response time - I got email replies within an hour to two of my questions. They had the chrome pickup and bridge covers I wanted. They were out of stock on the replacement bridge covers with the Fender "F" on it, but the plain ones were in. They also had huge amounts of classic replacement pickguards, even the real nickel screws. I highly recommend this site! Howard |
