Firefox on Mac: Post-formatting options don't work

Hi guys,

Nothing too critical, but I have just switched to running the Mozilla Firefox browser (2.0.0.12) on my Mac (OS 10.3.9) and ran into some problems with the posting tools.

None of the things on the advanced formatting options page work, including bold, italics, indenting, web links, and smilies. They don't even look like I'm able to click on them. Nor do imbedded quotes.

This is a pretty current version of Firefox, but an old version of the Mac OS.

Just thought I'd pass along the info.

I am using leopard, but it is working for me

maybe try clearing the cache

We have the same build of firefox.... the OS shouldn't matter...

try a Google for BON ECHO or DEER PARK - both are versions of Firefox that were specifically tweaked for Macs - I have Bon Echo on one iBook and Deer
Park on another, and both run much quicker than regular ol' Firefox.

OK, clearing the cache obviously worked.

Thanks so much Getbent. Now I can post tastefully formatted entries again.
