Is there and is it possible to repro Nancy ?

Hello ,

This is my first post to the forum and I want to present my best.

I want to ask , is there exact reproductions of Roy Buchanans Nancy ?

Are they sound as close possible to Nancy or are they marketing hype?

I dont want to face with it but may be is its sound was a lucky accident or lost technique which winder made and stay hidden inside of the bobbin ?

Hi Mustafa, If it is Roy Buchanan's tone you seek talk to Don Mare. He used to be a member here, he's spent many years trying to capture Nancy's tone, and many folks here say that he has. I've heard nothing but great reviews of his pickups.

Don Mare is a serious genius. I actually am not ultra familiar with Roy Buchanan's tone, but I can say that the pickups that Don is winding are the closest to vintage 50's Fender as I have heard, and I have a Don Mare pickup in my Esquire that sounds incredible... from what many people are saying, Don has nailed Roy's tone
