"Ads by Google" Banner, Legit?

Has that orange banner across the top of each page with "Ads by Google" always been there or has the TDPRI host server been hacked/hijacked. They look just like the hijack ads that I've seen insert themselves on other discussion group servers. Trouble is, there are legit ads served by Google that look the same so I don't know how to judge the difference. I just never noticed them 'til today...

They've been there a long time, and are part of the page. =)

I noticed this on the Google banner a few days ago & it was there again today. Not sure if this is something you want coming up?
