Hwy p/ups for a Squier? [Archive] - Telecaster Guitar Forum

Curious what you guys think about the Hwy 1 Hot Alnico 3s as a possible swap in a Squier Std.

Just have some time on my hands and felt like screwing around with the guitar a bit. Would the Hwy 1s be worth the effort or should I shoot for something else to get a more classic sound? Are there other issues with routs/pickguard cutouts, etc.?
