OEM Humbuckers in a tele

For anyone that has a tele that has an OEM humbucker in the neck, do you know if Fender installs a 500K pot for this or do they keep the 250K pots?

Nobody? Anyone with a thinline or anything with a humbucker in a tele? 250K pots?

Had a MIM std strat with floyd rose & humbucker - still had 250K pots in that (if that's any good to you)

I'm pretty sure Fender uses 250K pots for everything since the bulk of the guitars they sell are strats and teles, and thus they would seem to have a lot lying around.

I know that the 72 Deluxe RI uses 250K pots. A common complaint is that the pups sound muddy stock, and for many owners the first mod is going up to 500K or even 1meg pots to really bring the pickups alive.

Thanks guys. I actually like that dark muddy sound. The right pickup can remove the mud, and yet still retain that dark and jazzy sound.

I was just curious if Fender's came stock with 250K. I suspected they did, but had no real idea.

Again, thanks!
