I am looking to buy a new pedal (a new toy just to be used for jamming in the house). I play primarily country/rock and blues. Trying to decide between a POD2 and a Route 66. Thanks

I use one and also a H20 with my Epiphone Valve Jr head and cab , and also my 68 Deluxe Reverb and its sounds great . Its sounds very good with Telecasters !!!!!!! markinlondon December 29th, 2007, 08:24 PM The Rt. 66 is a great pedal if you're going to use the compressor. I'd suggest a Bad Monkey if you're not. I sold my Rt.66 as it was huge as pedals go, I never used the compressor, and I found the fixed bass boost on th OD side a bit over the top. Sounded great as a TS clone with a bit more gain though. The POD is an amazing device but do you need all the stuff it does? |
