mini humbucker issue

Thanks for reading. I have assembled my first partscaster tele with a vintage mini in the neck possition. It rocks back and forth ever so slightly, front to back. Should I bother with it? It sounds great.

Well ... if it sounds great, and it doesn't bother You then it's nothing to be bothered about ... :-)

Is it mounted to the pickguard or to the body ? Have You used springs or rubber "bushings" ?
Got any pictures ? We never get bored of pictures of Telecasters !

thanks, It is mounted to the pick guard and has surgical tubing for bushings. I have not photos yet. I will soon. It is the hated spalted maple.

Humbuckers DO rock - in more ways than one. That's just the way it is.

If - and only if - it troubles you, OR you have microphonic or other feedback issues, you could put some sponge or foam in the rout underneath the pickup to make it sit level and restrict it from rockin'...
