Big frets

Got a killer USACG tele neck for my #2 tele with brand new 6100 frets, pretty big. My #1 tele has medium jumbo frets, I like those alot. These 6100's aint bad, but they are bigger than I'm used to. I am having a bit of buzzing 5th fret and above, have already tweeked action up pretty good, and also adjusted truss rod for more relief. I assume that the frets just need a bit of leveling, as new frets, esp. big ones can. Any thoughts? maybe I should try a shim in the upper neck pocket first?

Strung up the new neck Thursday night. Was bumming with the string buzz, raised action and gave more relief on the truss rod. Small improvement Sat. More improvement today. I guess it needed a couple of days for the truss rod adjustment to take, and probably get acclimated to my basement room, which is pretty much around 55-60 humidity, it came from much drier climes. At this rate, all the buzzes will be gone by mid-week (hoping!).
