Anybody else craving the blackhear mini stackteletard November 28th, 2007, 12:03 AM i read the reveiw. listened to the clip it sounds and looks really cool for the price. i really want one. i am torn between the blackheart and the new superchamp. anyone played the blackheart yet? Tdot November 28th, 2007, 01:20 AM Are they even available yet? I see the due date keeps getting pushed on MF. teletard November 28th, 2007, 01:44 AM not sure when it is coming. but i won't be ready financially till after the new years so when ever it comes out it will be fine. the clip sounds really good and if it does sound that good, why not upgrade transformer to mercury and do the other available mod, the tube rectifier. it sounds better than the epi junior, which i owned. and i owned a modded epi junior which sounded better, so i am sure the mercury component will add to the amp and the sag provided by the tube rectifier will be sweet. but mostly i am sold by the looks. i know that is lame, but 259.00 for descent sounding eye candy is a good deal. ruger9 November 28th, 2007, 07:44 AM it certainly looks very interesting, and alot more promising than either the VJr or C600 (both of which I owned & sold). I'd almost buy the thing based on there brilliant marketing hype alone!: http://www.blackhearteng.com/blog/ bowlfreshener November 28th, 2007, 11:22 AM I am really tempted, but will probably wait a few months before getting one just to make sure theres not some issues with hum or something, like when the Epi Valve Juniors first came out. Plus, maybe its just me, but there seems to be a lot of hype around these amps, which either means everyone will be plesantly surprised if they live up to the hype, or mildly disappointed, if it ends up that its all hype. The 3-5watt switch is what is tempting me because 5 watts gets hella loud on my VJ heads... |
