i have played this amp a few times in the store and although that insane patch for metal works for metal, the rest of the sounds just don't work for me. To me it sounds like it needs a different speaker and a closed back cabinet.

For a practice amp it may be okay, but I wouldn't buy one.

PS - The metal heads that work in the store love it... but, they don't like Telecasters.

Sort of a big G-Dec. . and the über-vox-da5 as well. if that microphone sounds good, that can be a helluva amp for all kinds of stuff. small gigs, solostuff and that type of activities. no pa required. all in one box.
