Seigmund double-drive in church

I'm the worship and music director at a small (under 300) church, and I play a CS Relic Nocaster as I lead worship. The age old question of volume from the stage is always an issue in church. We go direct including Roland V-Drums, and I've used Pods and dislike them in general. (all of 'em)
I recently bit the bullet and got a Seigmund Double-Drive micro tube preamp to go direct. What a great solution!! The guitar sounds real; big fat cleans and nice dirt, and no one complains anymore about volume since it sounds so good. Chris only makes these to order, but they are well worth the wait.
Here's my signal chain; BJFE Pine Green compressor>BJFE Honey Bee OD>Catalinbread Silver Kiss OD>Catalinbread Semaphore Tremelo>Blackbox Quicksilver Delay>Seigmund Double Drive>BBE Direct box=awesome and inspiring sound .

Cool,,, I sometimes just plug into a Mesa Boogie Vtwin and then into a direct box. I preferr my amps but there are situations where I cant turn up to the volume that I want with an amp. Good solution at times.

If you've got good monitors, it's possible to run long cords and have your amp backstage or off in a corner. Drape a heavy winter jacket over the front, and it works as a poor mans amp box. We use a portable stage in my church, so there's enough space behind us to put it facing the back wall, and it hardly can be heard except through the PA system.

I've started running my Atomic Reactor amp, off stage as well.
Its micd, and I play with Aviom IEM's
Glad you found a solution.
Every situation is different, yet the goal is the same right?
