What should I watch out for in a cheapo bass?mcfalljames November 20th, 2007, 07:03 PM Here's the deal. I don't play bass (yet) -- still learning to play guitar. I would, however, like to have a cheapie rig to bang around on when the mood strikes. Right now there's an Epiphone bass with a Crate amp on Craigslist in my area for $150. Other than making sure they actually work, anything to watch out for that would sour my bass experience?
