Just posted a pic of my pink parts-o-caster over in the Tele forum and thought I'd share a couple of my new '59 thin skin Strat, aka "pinup-o-caster".

This is one of a special run of thin skin reissue strats; got mine from Wildwood Guitars. It is truly an amazing guitar. Mine weighs in at just over 6 1/2 pounds, beautiful translucent white blonde finish, 2 piece ash body, dark slab rosewood board with clay dots and fabulous Custom 50s pickups. According to Fender, these are the same pickups used in the Time Machine 56 Strats, Robin Trower sig and a few other CS strats.
I swapped the wiring for an Acme blender kit and changed out the pickguard for the cowgirl. :cool: I also added a little "relic" pinup decal treatment on the trem cover plate.
