First let me say that this is all tongue-in-cheek so don't take it too seriously.
Sorry if the picture doesn't show up. Perhaps someone could click on it and post it properly for me (thanks).

I had a Squier Strat body that needed new paint so I did this for practice for myself. Also, I figured that I'd better hurry up and get it done before Fender came out with this EC series.

The paint is mostly all just off the shelf Krylon except for one ReRanch color. Can you spot it? Other than that its just pure stock Squier.

I could never find a picture of the back of Crash 3 so I just did it pretty much like the front. The scheme is not perfect but recognizable, the actual painting is certainly not perfect either.

Actually, I did one EC type thing in taking all the best parts from 3 Squiers and putting them together to form this guitar.

I don't play out much at all anymore and somehow have gotten to be known for my quirky guitars (way more than my playing) but still it never fails, no matter what I show up with, someone will ask, 'Where'd you buy that guitar?'

It'll probably end up on ebay soon enough but it has been a fun exercise.

Thats a pretty complex paint job and I think you did a fantastic job. That is not a replica you see very often but a very cool one nonetheless.
