Anyone using or tried a pair of Wolfetones (http://www.wolfetone.com/)in a Tele? A local store is selling them and the tech there was raving about them. Internet info seems pretty sparse.
Considering them for a 60's Tele build, or possibly SD Antiquity II.

Hi, Wolfe is a good friend of mine and a very good dude. He winds some of the best pickups on the market bar none. www.wolfetone.com He sells a ton of OEM stuff that you have probably seen before and sells to a ton of very high profile musicians. He has his stuff together. Peace.

Wolfe rewound 2 pickups for me a couple of years ago.
For A bridge quarter pounder that was broken; he made a rewind similar to those of his b1tch models; the sound is sweet, completely different from the original and less noisy.
I had a 8Kohms neck pickup too, he rewound this one to 6.8 KOhms; I was very happy of his job; the sound : bright, precise and complex.
Also, he's a very nice guy.

Wolftones can't be beat. He is probably the best hand winder today. I'm a Huge fan of his Marshallheads and Dr.Vintage humbuckers. His pickups are number one over on the Les Paul forum...try them you will be blown away.
