vision of new stompbox arangement

stompbox-gurus please tell me. i saw forumbrothe lars performing last nite and a wave of inspiration came over me. what would you think of this possible new scenario: into the morleywah- korg stagetuner- route 55- bosstremolo- old ibanez analogdelay for slapback- amp.
right now its like this: wah- tuner- old marshall bluesbraker pedal- zoom choir for long delay- boss tremolo- boss chorus- analog dealy for slapback-amp.
please talk me deeply into the route 66, cause i am gassing for a compressor to slicken up my clean tone.

Eddie, im a VERY happy route66 user !!, once you have figured what knob does what (its easy !!) its so easy to just 'set it and forget it'.
The comp can be set to be quite 'transparent' which i like, not too much 'suck' to the sound.
First time i heard them was when Johnny Hiland used them at his PRS demo, i thought the pedals were more interesting than the guitar !

Eddie, where would you get your OD?
I had a chat with Lars after his Vienna-gig, and he told me he was using his Fulldrive 2 as a boost to get his dirt from the Twin, so I'm not sure how big of a role the OD-side of the Route 66 played in his sound. Maybe he'll chime in once he gets back from the tour?

thanks for the input gentlemen. the route 66 is "en route" to my place. roman, the basic dirt comes from my amp, a marshall dsl 401 cranked quite a bit, i hope the compressor will mellow that beast a bit for strumming ballads and clean slide, the overdrive of the 66 shall kick in a bit more crunch. i will tell you how this plan this works out. eddie

And roman is right i bearly never use the OD part of the route 66.
I put my route 66 first in the chain and I only use the compressor part of the pedal.The rest of the pedals are a Fulltone fulldrive 2,voodoo lab tremolo and a Boss dm 3.
