Which CS-3 Compressor mod?

I want to mod my CS-3. I wired a tele on a few occasions and from what it sounds like this mod isn't much harder (or is it?).

I'm not sure which one is best. This company has two kinds of mods...

Which one should I get for country twang (if that factors in at all). Or is there a better one?

You might want to look at Brian Wampler's mod at Indyguitarist.com, also. When you sign up for his newsletters, you can get some instructions for mods for free, and CS-3 mod is included. I did it on mine, and my CS-3 went from "yeeeewwwww (stock  )" to "yeeeaaaahhh (modded  )." Now it has less noise, less grainy tone, and more life in general.

He has a huge book of mods for really cheap as well.

Yes, I went for Brian's mod, and it opened up the pedal tonally for me, giving the controls a greater range of subtle action.

F.F.

Ok I ordered the Indyguitarist mod. Brian told me that he is no longer selling these mods (CS-3) but he would complete the order. I think his website is out of date. It will be interesting to see how it goes as I have never did a pedal mod before.
