esquire wiring variation

My first post.

I did a search but couldn't find any answers.

Is it possible to wire an Esquire so that I keep the original Esquire wiring system, but add a rhythm pickup independently so that I have volume and tone on the rhythm pickup? this way I can "blend" in the rhythm pickup without changing the existing system.

I would like to do this without adding additional switches so it still looks like a tele.

thanks

The only way that I can think of being able to have that option is to have a separate third volume pot for the neck pickup that is wired to go straight to the jack. Which won't look like the tradition tele.

Also, if you have a neck pickup in the guitar you will not get the full effect of the esquire setup because of the added magnetic pull on the strings at the imaginary 24th fret. Hence, killing all esquire mojo
