Replacement Pickguard for a MIM Standard Tele

Hi everyone,
Is there an online store that sells replacement pickguards for MIM Standard Teles? I specifically want either a cream or gold pickguard. I have a black MIM Standard with white pickguard, but I recently saw a black Tele with a cream pickguard and thought it looked amazing. I've been searching everywhere on the net for an 8-hole replacement pickguard with additional neck pick-up adjustment screw-holes - but I haven't found anything yet. I thought I had found what I was looking for at Warmoth, but they don't ship to Canada, so I'm out of luck.

Also - when I think I've found something close to what I'm looking for, the holes don't appear to match up with my current pickguard. They're just ever-so-slightly off (or they don't have the neck pickup adjustment holes at all). Here are the only two that are remotely close to what I'm looking for so far:

I'm not 100% over either of those pickguards, but they're the closest I've found to what I want. Any suggestions for an online store that sells replacement MIM Standard pickguards would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Fab

Any Fender Telecaster replacement pickguard will fit. Check out musicians friend... There are also many companies that make ones that'll fit pretty well too... Warmoth, Allparts, Pickguard Heaven etc... I'd stick with a Fender brand one though. Easy to find.

What is the thickness of a mim Standard tele's pickguard? Warmoth's are .090..is that thicker?

John at Terrapin Guitars can make one for you. I have no association with him other than I had him make a custom guard for me in the past and was very pleased with both the man and his work.

Thanks for all of the ideas, guys. I'll check them all out. It turns out that Warmoth does, in fact, ship to Canada - but the shipping costs are more than the pickguard itself, so that's out of the question.

I guess another concern I have is this.......How hard is it to drill through a pickguard? If I find the perfect cream pickguard, but it doesn't have the neck pickup screw holes - can I just drill them in there myself? Anyone tried that and been successful?

I've seen the parchment pickguards in person, and they're not creamy/yellow enough. I'm looking for a deeper, creamier coloured pickguard. Not entirely unlike the background colour of this forum. I'm red/green colourblind (I can see colours, but they're not always the way other people see them) - so I apologize if the background colour isn't cream. But that's pretty much the colour of pickguard I'm looking for.

You'll have to order a custom made one then... Try Warmoth... or Pickguard Heaven...

Cheers!

I did this and it was fine. If the holed to the body are mis-aligned, glue a toothpick into the screw hole, then re-drill a new one. This is known as Fill and Drill.

Why not mount the pickup to the body?It will look cleaner with out the pickup height screws in the pickguard.Thats what I did with my MIM.
