got a small problem...

just got a mim standard fat strat. actually a pretty nice guitar for the money...and i love the versitlity of it. heres the problem, although small but pretty annoying, the d and g string buzz at the bridge. any ideas as to why this is happening and how i can fix it? thanks for the replys!

First be sure the saddle adjusr screws arent loose and rattling around.

You can paint them with some clear fingernail polish ro keep them in place and not moving around.

Second thing to check is for a burr on the saddles. You can do that by passing a Qtip over the saddles where the buzz is if some of the cotton fibers get stuck on the saddle then you have a burr you can sand it with some 400 grit black sandpaper and fix it.

Make sure you've located it correctly. Check to see if it's the nut and not the bridge. A slot in the nut that is too big for the string will sometimes cause a rattle or sitar-like sound.
