difference between boss tu12 and tu12h

i know the 12h is supposed to have a wider frequency range, but are there any other differences? it seems strange to me that the tu12 and the tu12h are the same price when the 12h has an improved range... i'm suspicious there's some drop in quality that keeps the prices for both tuners the same

I've been happy with a TU-12H for years. I even got it used (and cheap) with nicotine stains, the only relic tuner I've ever seen! The 12H used to be more expensive, I suspect time and the bulk price of the chips involved had eroded the price difference.
