I have this SKB Pedal board................
http://www.skbcases.com/music/products/sku_view_image.php?id=30&role=image_alt_2
I want to add & power a 7th pedal. The board has power output for 6 pedals.
Is there an easy way to add the 7th pedal?
Thanks,
John

I can only think of 3 options:
-Bunch 'em all closer together (may make it harder to turn on the right pedal at the right time, though)
- Take out the wah, just put it on the floor (kinda defeats the purpose though)
- Get a new, bigger board (sorry :P)

you can do it. You're going to have to find power for it of course... a one spot is 19$ and you can add the daisy chain later if you need it. Or walmart has wallwart universal adapters for 6$ bucks. But they're massive. or you could power a gain pedal with a battery and unplug it after you get done.
Try turning some of the pedals sideways let them hang off the edge a little. I had the same one and it was really crowded for awhile... If I can get those 6 pedals on there you shouldn't have a problem getting 7 more compact ones on there...

For clarity.....
The board in the photo is not my board. I can easily fit my 7 pedals on the board. I have 7 standard sized pedals; 5 face me all lined up and two are perpendicular along the top. I don't know how to power the 7th pedal. The board had power output for 6 pedals. I was hoping that there was a simple way to split one of the individual power cables from the board base and have it power two pedals. I have wall warts (a duffel bag full) but I just want a clean way to draw power for an additional pedal from the existing board base.
Is there a daisy chain cable that will power one pedal and hook over to the next pedal to also power a second pedal? I don't know enough about splitting the voltage to know if this is simple or complicated.
Thanks very much,
John

Please look at this.................

If this chain works, does it mean that I can wire two pedals into one power output jack on the board base?
I could go to radio Shack and get the parts to make a two pedal connector for about $4.00.
But will it work?
Calling all electrical experts.....
and Thanks.

Ooooh
I just have thi thing...sorry I can't remember the name...
Basically, I just have your standard Boss wall wart. Then I have a little cable that attaches to the end of the wall wart (the part that would go into a pedal). That cable has - dammit, I just counted, it's only five - plugs. I don't know if maybe someone makes one with more plugs.

you can use th cable from a one spot to daisy chain the effects. I would make sure that you use it on non sound effected pedals like tuners.

Thanks!
When you buy the SKB borad, you get about 15 assorted power cables with various plugs on one end so that you can go from the 6 common outputs on the board over to any 9 volt input on any brand of pedal.
If I take one of the cables with an odd pedal plug (one that I'll never use) and split it two ways for two pedals....will it work? Will I damage anything? I would just split one 9 volt output jack into two cables like a "y" cord.
Can I do that?
Thanks.

Signal Flex makes a Y effects power cable. Look at www.gtrheaven.com under effects or pedalboard accessories.
