Somewhere, I thought I had seen that the Bandmaster was also an AB763 circuit...was that a mistake? da dougster September 29th, 2003, 03:16 AM Don't know what the alpha codes out to but the numbers are the month and year the changes were implemented in production; 763=July 1963, 568=May 1968 and so on. The reason why many/most/all blackface Fender amps have a 763 date code is because that was the intro date for Blackface amps.
