Deserted Island Pedal?

So if you were stranded on a island with an electrical outlet and a single tube amp what one pedal would you absolutely need to have with you (assuming you needed ANY pedal)?

are you kidding? I live in an apartment, gimme a huge amp, lemme crank it all the way up and hear the cracks as the tubes break up over the ocean, man that would be pure bliss. Cold prolly use a bit of reverb though... :-)

the only pedal i use wit my rig is a dd3 but my ac30 has tremelo and reverb.

I am going to cheat and pick a Digitech RP350:)

Well I almost said an overdrive pedal of some sort but since this is a desserted island and a tube amp I could crank this puppy with out torking off the neighbors. Still I might need an overdrive pedal just to get more of a gain boost for those times I am feeling "randy". Sure AC/DC tone is nice sometimes but sometimes that isn't enough gain. All in all though I would probably keep the amp turned down to clean because that's my style 99% of the time, in which case a delay pedal would be my main choice.

So it sounds like Delay/Echo is the top choice followed by overdrive of some sort? I guess what I was looking for was something more specific like "I couldn't live without my " XXXXX " pedal".

The naked girl pedal could be useful regardless of whether you were on an island or not

Probably the best candidate for knocking coconuts down from the trees too! Built like a tank.

If it was for my Twin Reverb, my Voodoo Labs "Sparkle Drive", makes a Twin Reverb sound like Dumble. Like a Leslie with a Hammond B-3.
If it was my '78 Peavey Classic, my Tech 21 NYC GT-2. a perfect match.

I was going to suggest a naked girl with perfect pitch, but then she'll nag at you whenever you screw up a bend.
