I know how to turn off the Cabinett but how do I turn off the amp? Pete Galati February 27th, 2007, 08:48 PM What amp are you talking about? You can't really get away with disconnecting the speaker on a tube amp, because running it without a speaker connected would fry your output transformer. Why do you need the amp at all, if you don't want the speaker working? J-man February 27th, 2007, 08:50 PM He means the amp modeler on the Tonelab. Pete Galati February 27th, 2007, 09:11 PM He means the amp modeler on the Tonelab. Ok, well there's always manuals then http://www.voxamps.co.uk/support/manuals.asp ibobunot February 27th, 2007, 09:15 PM In the manual it says....... B. CABINET MODELS Now let’s look at the CABINET models: 11. OFF OK, this not a cabinet. The OFF position turns off the cabinet modelling area of the ToneLab, and allows the direct amp models to be sent directly to the outputs. When would you use this? When you are connecting directly to a guitar system (guitar amp input or power amp/speaker cab system). tonfarbe February 28th, 2007, 03:04 AM Depends on which Tonelab you have. You can use the big Tonelab SE in front of your amp like a regular effects board - just the effects section without amp and speaker modelling. On the desktop version of the Tonelab you can only set the speaker modelling to OFF but you can't bypass the amp modelling. Nick Fanis February 28th, 2007, 03:28 AM how do I turn off the amp? You simply push the button under the "amps" section until it no longer lights up. |
