Bill Lawrence T1 neck pickup?

I just got a Bill Lawrence T1 neck pickup..... Has anyone else played one, I'm not sure I like it (but I haven't really played it but about 2 minutes, but is sounds pretty dark).

Just to set/keep the record straight, if this is a new pickup it did not come from Bill and Becky's workshop -- afaik they don't make any pickup with that model number.

Here's a link to the description of them. The T1 is the Neck and the T2 is the Bridge. I didn't get them from this place (I got them locally) the Description says: "Bill Lawrence Black Label Guitar Pickups T1+T2, Black label's are the original Roy Buchanan pickups, we made for his guitar".

Absolutely not.

It doesn't mean that they aren't still good pickups.

It's a pretty decent pickup, but it's just a little too close to a "stock" tele tone for me and I was wanting more of a "stratish" or "open" tone. I've actually got it for sale in the classified section.
