This may be a stupid question, but will the new Barden bridge with the saddles fit a Highway 1 tele i have?
Its a three saddle bridge. Appreciate an answer on this one.

Yes the hwy1 uses the same bridge as the MIM 50's Classic. I was able to swap the 50's Classic bridge fior a 52ri direct bolton so the Barden bridge should work perfecto.

Thanks mark, for giving me that answer, especially since its the one i wanted to hear!!! lol This highway 1 is sort of a project guitar for me, i changed the pickups to Rio Grandes and now i'm going to change the bridge and saddles. I am thinking of adding a four way switch and a tbx tone control. The basic guitar itself plays very well
and these mods i am putting in it will change a good guitar into a great one.

I posted here last week about installing the Barden compensated brass saddles on my Tele...it was a Hwy 1, and I've had terrific results.

I had originally swapped the steel saddles that came on it, with some generic brass saddles that I had. That did ok, but the intonation problems were driving me nuts. So I put the Bardens on and solved the intonation problems, and gave an added bonus that I was not expecting - better tone. This guitar (Hwy1Tele) now seems to resonate and sing out much louder than it ever did before!

I would give the Barden saddles a 10 out of 10 rating.
