Rickenbacker Bass Copy

Does anyone know where I can get one? It seems Ric has forced Ebay to pull all auctions with a ric copy. I did find an auction for a Rogue 330 6 string copy. I would love to have a real Ric...but they are very pricey.

There were several copies made that I could find- Aria, Ibanez, Univox, Elektra, Carlo Robelli, and maybe many others. These apparently were 4001s. Maybe this will help you narrow your search.

There's nothing you can do about the eBay situation so aside from Craigslist your best bet is checking the gear for sale ads on bass-specific forums or putting a gear wanted listing.

I saw an Aria Ric copy in a vintage/used guitar store yesterday. It's been upgraded with Seymour Duncan pickups and Schaller tuners, but it's not cheap at $599 and it's a consignment so a price drop isn't likely. But PM me if you're interested and I'll give you the details.

Thanks for the info fellas. I'll keep looking around. I dunno about the Aria...it does sound a little pricey for a copy. I was hoping to find a bargain somewhere, maybe around $300.
