Hello everybody!
I'm new to the list and I thought you could help me in telling something about this odd looking bender I saw at a Japanese web page. Address below.

http://www.ai.wakwak.com/~music/diar/1999/diar03/diar03.htm

I don't read japanese so I couldn't understand what the writing said about this bender.
Is it a self-made prototype or a commercial product?
It shure looks like an easy and enough small device!

My guitar is a Japanese made Squier Tele from -86 and it has got a bridge where you put the strings right through the back of the bridge (not through body).
I am interested in trying a b-bender but I would not like to modify my guitar.
Any suggestions of benders for my guitar that are easy to install?
Thanks in advance,
Lasse

Lasse,

If you want a bender that is easy to install, check out the Hipshot B-Bender.

Will Ray of the Hellecasters uses one and he can do some amazing things with his:

Take Care,

P.S. The Hipshot B-Bender is also very affordable!

I think I've seen something similar to the one on your link, but for the life of me, I can't remember where...maybe in a dream...it looks pretty cool in a science fair project sort of way...I'd say it's a prototype
