Reversing Volume Pot

If I want to reverse the way the volume pot works - that is, make the volume increase when rotating counter-clockwise instead of clockwise - I just need to swap lugs 1 & 3, correct?

How well does that work if you reverse them? I'd think the taper would be a lot different when you hooked them up backwards.
