Fender Enforcer Pups on American Dlxe Tele

Hello, Does anyone know anything about these pickups?

Enforcers are usually in Tornados... Never heard of them in teles as an OEM install...

they come oem in the j5 tele. kind of interested in them myself to possibly install in my ibanez. anyone have info on these? i dont see them in the catalouge.

I got the info from the Fender product guide on their website.

The Enforcer HB replaced the Atomic HBs that came in the original Telecaster HS guitars. IIRC, when the HS guitars first came out they had the Atomic HB, no pickguard, standard switching. Then a year or so later, they replaced the Atomic HB with the Enforcer. added the thick 1-ply pickguard and the S-1switching. I think I still have one laying around in my parts box. After checking out the link that 3Tone provided I believe my guitar has the Atomic pickups from a visual inspection that did not include removing the pickup. The guitar has the Z5 in the serial number which suggests 2005; but it also has the 60th Anniversary mini logo behind the headstock. Which makes me think it's a late manufacture 2005 shipped on 06. If this is the case then when did they switch over to the Enforcer from the Atomics?

One way to tell if the pickups are the Enforcers is the the screw "slot". The Atomics have a normal screw slot on the pickup poles, the Enforcers have a "slot" for a hex-head wrench. IIRC, I noticed the change in the Tele HS in 2004.
