Picked up a Alverez Dana scoop, black tele body, string saver saddles on a tele bridge, 9 V active electronics, EMG single at the neck and EMG HB at the bridge, flamed maple neck with a rosewood board for $100. Pretty cool little tele...not something the "purists" would like but to actually be able to put your fretting hand under the neck is really cool.

I just bought a new Telecaster yesterday, white body, made in US. It plays beautifully, just have to break it in. I've had a Strat for many years but always wanted a Tele. New member, looks like an interesting forum.

Just got a '98 Mexican Squier that I traded for some used music junk. Black, worn maple neck, BWB 3ply guard. Pots and switch work amazingly well, thought they had been upgraded until I opened it up and saw stock components. The neck is too thin and the radius is too flat for me. No complaints though, plays well and sounds good.
