I got a flyer saying Guitar Center was having a sale on these, and wondered how good they were with a Tele and a clean Fender amp, such as a Deluxe Reverb or Pro Reverb. Or maybe a Super Champ.
I'd pretty much be playing at low volume around the house only.
Any info appreciated!

I think the delay modeler is pretty killer, particularly for live use since it's like having 3 different delay pedals, all of which sound good. While the analog models aren't PERFECT, they're very good and have lots more tweakability. Personally I don't think you can go wrong, especially if they're on sale. Just make sure to get a power adapter b/c they use something like 4 C batteries and INHALE them... I sold mine only after I went with a rack effects processor to handle my delays (to simplify and lighten my equipment). For home use it would be lots of fun. :o)
I've never used the other ones but have heard similarly good reviews of them.

I wanted one the first time I saw it, but then I played throught it, and found nothing more useful than what I was already using.
I guess it's a decent sounding pedal, but it's not a "POD on the floor"...don't expect to be able to use it direct - it's sounds like crap that way.
If you could get one for a really good deal, I'd go for it. But don't sell your favorite (insert item here) just to get one.

Yeah, I think it's like $149 at GC.

I recently got one of these from musicians friend for the same price. I'd been eyeballing these for a while and when I saw that they were like a hundred dollars off, I had to try it.
I play strats and teles and an epi casino into a sfdr, and my main interest in this was the vox and marshall sounds. I've only messed with it a couple of times so far, but I have to say that the sounds out of the box weren't all that great. Everything had a really thin, spikey tonality about it that I'm gonna have to work hard to dial out. The vox ac30 and the matchless patches were especially trebley.
Luckily, I've got a month to mess with it before I have to decide whether to return it, because I think I'm gonna have to spend some serious time tweaking it to see if it will work for me or not. I've also yet to try running an od pedal in front of it for solo boosts, so I'm not sure how it will react to that, either.
