Source for faux tortoise shell bonding??

Anyone know of a source for faux tortoise binding, suitable for a Tele body project? I recall one of the major Luthier supply houses stocked it at one time?

Custom Inlay has it in the catalog...but at 53" it may not be long enough.

But they seem to be REALLY GOOD PEOPLE to work with and it wouldn't hurt to contact them.

I just roughly measured a tele, and they seem to be about 52". Might work just right.

Now i totally want a tortoise bound blackguard though..........:idea:
