Hi everyone,
So I just placed an order last night at Harmonic Design for a Super 90 bridge and a V+ neck. And it said on the top of the ordering page that in may take about 8 weeks to be shipped. For those of you who have ordered from HD, how long did it take for you to get your pickups? Thanks

Hi, yes 8 weeks is reasonable. Guys who wind their own pickups and are possibly a small company like me usually work by themselves. It all depends on how many orders we already have but 8 weeks is not too bad. I think Lindy Fralin is at 4 weeks, Jason lollar last time I talked to him was about 9+ weeks and I'm about 4+ myself due to family issues with me though. The small guy has things like life and family that also factor in so there ya go. Hope this cleared up things for ya.

I ordered a few pickups from them, most came in about 8 weeks, but some came sooner, around 6 weeks. You never know, but I'm pretty sure they will come in about 8 weeks. :)

Scott winds some great pickups, but as others have stated, 8 weeks isn't too bad.

I think he's faster on his standard models. We ordered a Custom Shop STP that took about 4 months. Great pickup, worth the wait and the price.

I've ordered the "Vintage Plus" pickups from Harmonic Design for my Tele and it took about four weeks , maybe a bit more. They are phenomenal pickups. The Super 90's take the longest though and he says so on his site. On the basis of what the Vintage Plus pickups did for my Tele, I am actually removing my Lollar P-90's and replacing them with the Harmonic Design VP-90's (replacing Lollars may be sacrilege to some). I can always put the Lollars back in if I want, but I fully expect the HD's to kick ass.

Hi AC15, it will be a tough thing to beat a Lollar P90. Jasons been doing pickups long enough to beat just about anyone at that game. He knows how to wind a great pickup. But hey, theres always a first for all things right?

Thanks Benny, but I have a feeling if there's a pickup capable of being better than a Lollar, it would be Harmonic Design, based on the Tele pickups I've got of theirs. I guess I'll find out.

I'm hearing good things about those. Let us know when you get them installed. :)

I have a Vintage+ neck/Super 90 bridge set in a Thinline. Really great, unique sounding pickups. I think you'll suffer through the wait but be glad once you get them.

Lindy Fralin winds a pretty mean P-90 too.

I gotta tell ya, it's really worth it! The S-90/Vintage + setup is hands down the best Tele set I have ever had. I was an idiot to sell them in a '52 RI that I sold.

I bet you'll love them when you get them in your tele!

Yeah, Harmonic Design...or one of Benny's pickups :D !
-I can't wait to get the dogear P90 Benny is winding for me even if it DOES take 4 weeks!
