Someone posted a link where you could get the Fender Tele 62ri pickup.

I have some pocket change, and I think I want to try one.

Thanks

Hey - cool! I didn't know you could get these - the Fender website doesn't list them, anyways.... Anyone know the specs on these? I'm looking for a set of lower-to-normal output pu's to replace the Tex Specs in my CIJ '62 Custom. Appreciate any input.

The MIJ non Texas Special stocker is a very nice pickup. Got mine from a MIJ 69 owner. But it is the same stock pickup that you see in most MIJ models. You can pick them up on ebay for around 23 bucks.

The MIM 69 ri is a very nice pickup. (Staggard pole)

Actually, I am getting this MIA 62 so that I own all of them.

Strat?
Tele's are usually not raised bevel, but raised unbeveled.

But the reviews on them are nothing short of stellar.

I can live with the unorthidox approach, if they are THAT good.

If you look real close at the SD Vintage 54, they are bevelled some as well. Not as much as these, but there is some bevelling.

It is my understanding that the bevelling creates a more focused response. But I really would not know.
