advice sought on loop master

When I picked up a guitar for the first time in high school, I recall thinking that people were nuts for obsessing over tone loss when using certain effects. Well ...

The sound I get going from Telecaster to amp is markedly different when run through six or seven pedals. I know my Vox wah is the chief culprit, and I have ordered a Loop Master bypass box.

Hoping someone can advise how to place the remaining pedals (ordered the double loop version).

• Vox wah
• Boss TU-2 tuner
• Barber Direct Drive
• TS-9 reissue
• Boss Tremolo
• Danelectro BLT (slap back)
• Boss DD-2

Think it's best to split up the chain, I seldom use more than three at once. The little Dano (a great reverb effect) is usually always on. I'm guessing the Direct Drive can be run straight to the amp.

Thanks for obsessing with me.

I know this isn't what you asked, but you can always make you Vox Wah true-bypass by installing a 3PDT switch, available here:

I did this jobby and it was bone-simple (it comes with instructions on how to wire up wahs).

Appreciate the tip, James. May go that route in addition to the loop box. Truth is I seldom use the wah. Just looks cool sitting on the board with the big, chrome V-O-X staring back.
